Moss Hop privacy policy
This policy explains how information is handled by Moss Hop, an Android game developed by Tellper Co. LLC. For questions, contact info@tellper.app.
Game information on your device
Moss Hop saves your progress, high scores, unlocked and selected cosmetics, language choice, sound settings and recent ad-view times locally on your device. These records let you resume play, keep your preferences and limit how often ads are offered. We do not upload these game records to a Tellper server. The game has no player account, social profile, chat or cloud leaderboard.
The game does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone or precise location. Android’s backup and restore settings may retain app data through your device’s backup service.
Google advertising services
The Android version includes Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google’s consent service. It offers optional rewarded video ads that you choose to watch to continue a run. Ad services can contact Google when the app starts or prepares an ad, even if you do not choose to watch one.
Google’s ad SDK processes technical and usage information including IP addresses (which may indicate approximate location), device and advertising identifiers, app/ad interactions and diagnostic information. Google uses this for ad delivery, measurement, service operation and fraud prevention. Data handling depends on the SDK, settings and applicable choices. Google states that its ad SDK encrypts data in transit. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
We have not added separate gameplay analytics, an account system or a payment service to this version. Google’s advertising services perform their own measurement.
Your choices and local data
The game checks Google’s consent service when it starts and displays a consent form where required and available. It initializes advertising and requests ads only after that process succeeds and Google’s service permits ad requests. If the check or form fails, ads remain unavailable and you can keep playing. Google’s consent service stores your choices on the device.
You can open this policy from Settings. When Google’s consent service requires a privacy-options entry, Settings also shows Privacy choices, where you can review or change your choices. Available forms depend on your region and the message configuration. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily disable all ads.
Watching a rewarded ad is optional. You can decline and restart the game. You can change language and sound settings in the game. Reset progress restarts the journey but retains earned cosmetics and some preferences; it is not a complete data-deletion control and does not reset consent choices.
To remove all local game records, use Android Settings to clear Moss Hop’s app storage. This removes saved progress and preferences. Backup copies may need to be managed separately through your device’s backup settings. Android’s advertising privacy settings also let you manage or delete your advertising ID; the available controls depend on your Android version. These actions do not themselves delete information already held by Google.
For parents and guardians
Moss Hop is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed to children. It is not part of Google Play’s Designed for Families program, and its advertising uses Google’s standard (non–child-directed) ad serving. If your child uses your device, you can manage or reset the advertising ID and ad personalization in Android’s privacy settings.
Parents or guardians should handle support requests involving children. Please do not send a child’s full name, precise location, photographs or other unnecessary personal details. If you believe personal information about a child has been sent to Tellper, contact info@tellper.app so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
Support, retention and sharing
If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you send. We use it to respond and resolve your issue, with our email provider processing the messages. We retain correspondence while needed for that request, unresolved follow-up and applicable legal obligations, then delete it. Local game records remain until cleared or removed; Google handles its own records under its privacy and retention policies.
We do not sell your support messages or upload your local game records to advertisers. Google processes advertising-related data as described above. We may disclose support information when legally required or necessary to protect rights and prevent abuse. Service providers may process information in countries other than where you live.
Privacy requests
You may ask us for access, correction or deletion of personal information you have sent to Tellper, or raise an objection or privacy concern, by emailing info@tellper.app. Available rights depend on your location and applicable law. We may need limited information to verify that a request concerns you. We cannot remotely erase device-local saves or directly delete data held independently by Google; use the device and Google privacy controls for those records. You may also contact your local data-protection authority where that right applies.
Policy updates
Changes will appear on this page with an updated date. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. This website has a separate website privacy policy.
